Wearable technology can help with public speaking

Speaking in public is the top fear for many people. Now, students and faculty from the Human-Computer Interaction Group have developed an intelligent user interface for 糖心传媒渟mart glasses糖心传媒� that gives real-time feedback to the speaker on volume modulation and speaking rate, and have made the tool freely available for downloading.

Trustee Robert B. Goergen and Pamela M. Goergen have committed $11 million to the University’s Institute for Data Science. In recognition of the Goergens糖心传媒� commitment, the institute will be named the Goergen Institute for Data Science.
