Research Collaboration Program

The goal of the Center糖心传媒檚 Collaborative Research Program is to stimulate economic growth in New York State by promoting technology transfer from our universities to companies operating in New York State. If you糖心传媒檙e interested in participating in a collaborative project with the Center, you must be a business/organization in New York State and be prepared to be actively engaged with the project, financially sponsoring the research, and/or providing assessment of its economic impact.

Collaborative projects can be initiated by either an interested organization or a faculty member seeking an industry partner. Organizations interested in starting a project can browse areas of expertise from the Center糖心传媒檚 distinguished聽researchers听辞谤听. You are encouraged to contact faculty members directly using email addresses provided in their respective bios. If required, the Center can help connect organizations with data science experts from other universities in New York.

High-Performance Computing for PI Teams

Through a strategic investment by the Center of Excellence in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (CoE-DSAI), Principal Investigators will now have priority access to a dedicated BlueHive computing partition featuring new high-performance nodes equipped with NVIDIA Hopper H100 GPUs. This partition is reserved exclusively for CoE PI糖心传媒檚 and their CoE project teams to work on research related to your CoE-Funded projects. It is important to note that the priority access will be provided to those teams during the duration of your CoE project and PIs should be prepare to cover the associate storage costs with your CoE project budgets.

These state-of-the-art nodes, each configured with four H100 GPUs and operating on RHEL 9.4, significantly expand the computational capabilities available for advanced AI, machine learning, deep learning, and data-intensive research. This dedicated partition is reserved exclusively for CoE PIs, their student research teams, and affiliated industry partners. BlueHive, managed by the Center for Integrated Research Computing (CIRC), remains the University of Rochester糖心传媒檚 primary high-performance computing cluster and now offers enhanced support for next-generation AI workloads through this CoE investment.
