Bringing together more than 100 partners糖心传媒攊ncluding universities, manufacturers, startups, and community organizations糖心传媒攁nd working to transform Upstate New York into the beating heart of the U.S. semiconductor industry, the NY SMART I-Corridor focuses on three interconnected pillars designed to accelerate discovery, growth, and talent across the semiconductor landscape:
Funding Opportunity: NY THRIVE Innovation Vouchers
As part of the Commercialization & Collaboration Center (C3) pillar, and to spark collaboration between industry and academia, the Corridor has launched the program designed to connect businesses with cutting-edge research facilities, specialized equipment, and expert technical support.
Funding tiers:
- Tier 1: Up to $50,000 (12 months, no match)
- Tier 2: $50,001糖心传媒�$250,000 (12 months, 10% match)
- Tier 3: Over $250,000 (up to 24 months, 25% match)
Eligibility: CEOs, CTOs or R&D leaders in semiconductor design, manufacturing, or related sectors, with projects in the designated regions (Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Ithaca, Batavia, Auburn) aligning to Corridor objectives.
