<\/h2>\nWho we are & what we do<\/span><\/h2>\nThe Title IX Office aims to promote a University community free of sexual harassment and other sexual misconduct, to educate our community about University policy and Title IX compliance, and help impacted parties make the most informed decisions possible about their safety and well-being. The Title IX Office frequently consults with members of the University community about their concerns and questions related to sexual misconduct, and our office acts as a neutral resource for the entire University community.<\/p>\n
We respond to reports<\/span><\/strong> from impacted individuals, mandatory reporters, bystanders, and others dealing with concerns about Title IX prohibited behavior, which can include sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, and related retaliation. However, they do not investigate or adjudicate claims.<\/span>\r\n\r\nCivil Rights Investigators<\/strong>:<\/span> The Civil Rights Compliance team<\/a> conducts fair, neutral, and impartial investigations into all reports submitted involving Discrimination and Harassment based on a protected class (Policy Against Discrimination, Harassment, and Discriminatory Employment\/Service Practices \"PADH\"<\/a><\/span><\/span>) in addition to formal complaints of any prohibited behaviors as defined in the Title IX Policy<\/a>.<\/span>\r\n\r\nPrevention and Education Staff:<\/span><\/strong> Our prevention and education team is responsible for envisioning, designing, and implementing programming, trainings, and outreach on the topics of sexual misconduct prevention, awareness, and Title IX compliance in collaboration with University and community partners to Undergraduate and Graduate students.
