Annie Rosenow ’22, a political science major, and Richard Koutouan ’21S (MBA), a graduate student at the Simon Business School, are the 糖心传媒’s Student Employees of the Year.

Rosenow, from Williamsport, Pennsylvania, is a research and teaching assistant in the Department of Political Science and was honored as the University’s undergraduate recipient.

“Annie’s communication is exceptional,” says Dan Alexander, an assistant professor. “For course prep, she synthesizes large amounts of reference material to provide a clear narrative to structure the lecture. When my class went online last spring because of the pandemic, and I had to prerecord lectures because of childcare obligations, I asked Annie to join the lecture recording sessions with me.”

Koutouan, from Chicago, is a Benet Career Peer at Simon, providing career search assistance and guidance to fellow MBA and MS students looking for full-time employment or internships. He is the University’s graduate student employee of the year.

“Richard’s communication with students is straightforward, and I often see his ability to tailor his messaging and tone to specific situations,” says MBA Career Director Ron Carlson. “The feedback I hear from students gives me the confidence to suggest they meet with him, knowing he’ll recognize when to deliver a tough-love message and when to back off and allow a student to express frustration over a situation.”
