The University\u2019s newest inductees into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society include 118 seniors and 16 juniors. Another 13 seniors were elected as juniors last spring.<\/p>\n
Founded in 1776, Phi Beta Kapp is the nation\u2019s oldest and most prestigious academic honor society. Membership is by invitation only, and students are selected by faculty members who are also members of the society.<\/p>\n
The students will be initiated in a noon ceremony on Saturday, May 18 at the Larry & Cindy Bloch Alumni and Advancement Center. Josh Dubler, assistant professor in the Department of Religion and Classics<\/a>, will deliver the keynote address.<\/p>\n Founded in 1776, Phi Beta Kappa invites for induction the most outstanding students at America\u2019s leading colleges and universities.
