Piantadosi named ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½˜rising starÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½™ by Association for Psychological Science

The Association for Psychological Science (previously the American Psychological Society) recently named Steven Piantadosi, an assistant professor of , to its list of distinguished Rising Stars for his contributions to the field of psychology. PiantadosiÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½™s research focuses on how people learn language and concepts.

The Rising Star designation recognizes outstanding psychological scientists in the early stages of their post-PhD research career, whose innovative research has already advanced the field and signals great potential for their continued contributions.

The APS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting, protecting, and advancing the interests of scientifically-oriented psychology in research, application, teaching, and the improvement of human welfare.
