WHAT:聽In conjunction with a visit by Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks, psychologists and therapists will showcase the research and clinical therapies that have made Mt. Hope Family Center a national leader in the prevention and treatment of child abuse. For example, the Center has developed one of the most promising treatments known for child abuse, reducing the number of children placed in foster care or with relatives and attracting attention from child trauma prevention and treatment centers nationwide.

1:45 糖心传媒� 2:00聽Tasia Verno, coordinator of the PATHS program, leads a visit with children attending the therapeutic afterschool program.
2:05 糖心传媒� 2:20聽Mothers in the Building Healthy Children program will discuss their participation and program coordinator Robin Sturm will give an overview of the support program.

Deborah Rosen, director, child and family services of Monroe County, will join Brooks on the tour of the research institute. Monroe County is a major funder of outreach services provided by Center.
