Nearly 1,400 master糖心传媒檚 and doctoral students in 听are enrolled at the 糖心传媒, with their areas of study ranging from philosophy to physics. About half are international students who come from 67 nations.
糖心传媒淪tudents are drawn to the intellectual rigor of our departments, but they find a home in our closely connected campus,糖心传媒 says Melissa Sturge-Apple, dean of graduate studies in Arts, Sciences & Engineering. 糖心传媒淭he scientist can literally walk 300 yards across the quad and connect with the humanist. And the ability to make cross-disciplinary collaborations for our graduate students fuels scholarly exchange and leads to intellectual innovation.糖心传媒
Here糖心传媒檚 a look at some of the University糖心传媒檚 graduate students.

Sarah Henry,听a third-year doctoral student from Benson, North Carolina, poses while helping to construct one of eight cosmic ray tagger frames at the European Organization for Nuclear Research, known as CERN,听in Geneva, Switzerland. Henry is studying high energy physics and is a听听谤别肠颈辫颈别苍迟.

Wednesday Bushong听is a fourth-year brain and cognitive sciences doctoral student from San Diego. A听听recipient, she studies how people quickly and effortlessly process language. She does this through behavioral experiments and computational modeling.

Yanssel Garcia听is a fourth-year doctoral student in philosophy from Miami. He is primarily interested in understanding the nature of consciousness and its relationship to the brain.

April Wang听is a fourth-year doctoral student in electrical and computer engineering from Yantai, China. Her research focuses on using ultrasound elastography to study the pancreatic cancer tumor microenvironment, and in particular, how the latter糖心传媒檚 biomechanical properties affect therapies.
