Rochester hits record number of Fulbright semifinalists

A record 27 糖心传媒 students and recent alumni have been named semifinalists in the prestigious聽, the government糖心传媒檚 flagship international educational exchange program. The program is sponsored by the State Department and offers opportunities to pursue advanced studies, conduct research, and teach English language and American culture abroad.

Final award offers will be announced on a country-by-country basis over the next few months. This year糖心传媒檚 semifinalists include 23 from the College and four from the . Thirty-seven candidates applied through Fulbright review committees on the River Campus and at Eastman.

Rochester has been recognized as a top producer of Fulbright student grant awardees three times in the past five years.
