Eastman Harmonie’s European tour added an unexpected stop: the German Autobahn.
On their way to a scheduled performance in Salzburg, Austria, the wind octet’s tour bus overheated. To pass the time as they waited to get back on the road, they pulled out their instruments and treated drivers on the highway to an impromptu concert. Their Facebook video of the performance has been viewed more than 50,000 times.
Eastman Harmonie糖心传媒攁 subset of the Eastman Wind Ensemble糖心传媒攃ontinues its through June 5. Performances were scheduled in Salzburg, Bratislava, 艩tenovice, Prague, Plzen, Bayreuth, and Rochester糖心传媒檚 sister city W眉rzburg, where they糖心传媒檙e performing at the Mozart Festival.
