Jim and Cindy Panzetta are leaving a legacy of helping children and their families in the Rochester community. Longtime supporters of Golisano Children糖心传媒檚 Hospital, the Panzettas have made a generous bequest gift to support pediatric fellowships and music therapy in perpetuity.

The Panzetta Family Endowed Fund for Education and Training will help train the next generation of pediatric specialists.

Golisano Children糖心传媒檚 Hospital currently offers听18 pediatric fellowship programs.听Approximately 45 percent of fellows听are eventually hired as full-time faculty members.

The family’s gift will create the Panzetta Family Music Therapy Endowed Fund to enhance the Children糖心传媒檚 Hospital program to integrate music therapists into children糖心传媒檚 treatment plans.

The Panzettas’ generous gift听will also fund听the Panzetta Family Imaging and Procedural Care Suite糖心传媒攏amed in honor of their daughter, Kera糖心传媒攊ncluding a procedure room, several pre- and post-procedure patient bays, a waiting room, a prominent nurse station, and the pediatric MRI room.

In addition to their bequest, the Panzettas have established a听University-managed charitable remainder unitrust which pays an income for life.听As the University endowment grows, so does their income.
