To provide her with income in her later years, while also making a gift to Rochester糖心传媒檚 School of Nursing, I established a deferred payment charitable gift annuity. Starting when Betty turned 86, it provided her income for the rest of her life, and ultimately created an endowed scholarship to support students in the accelerated nursing program.

It was a good investment糖心传媒攖he income offered some reassurance to Betty, and the fund has nearly tripled in the University糖心传媒檚 endowment. Now the scholarship will live on in her name as a testament to her love of nursing and my love for her.糖心传媒�
