The feed is created based off events that are housed on the University event\u2019s page. These events must already be set up on the Universities events pages to implement them into the event feed component. This setting determines how many columns the cards will be displayed in. The minimum is one column and the maximum is four.","accordion_anchor":""},{"acf_fc_layout":"title","sub_heading":"Event feed widget code"},{"acf_fc_layout":"accordion","accordion_title":"Finding the widget builder","icon":"","row_content":"Acquiring the \u201cevent feed widget code\u201d is the bulk of getting the Event Feed set up.\r\n\r\nThe first step of acquiring the Event Feed code is visiting the University\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/events.rochester.edu\/\">events page<\/a>. On the events page, next to the filter button, select the ellipses and then click \u201cwidget builder.\u201d This will \u00a0bring up a form that that can be filled out to curate the desired list of events to be featured in the Event Feed component.","accordion_anchor":""},{"acf_fc_layout":"accordion","accordion_title":"Template","icon":"","row_content":"Start by selecting the \"Rochester Core\" template option to let the builder know you're going to be using the event code in the Rochester Core theme.","accordion_anchor":""},{"acf_fc_layout":"accordion","accordion_title":"Selecting events","icon":"","row_content":"To start the process of selecting the desired events, fill in where the events are held, who is holding the events, who the events are for etc. Keywords and tags can be input to narrow down the parameters for more specific results. This will generate a bunch of code to make up the Event Feed. Simply copy the given code and return to the WordPress page.
