The first step, is connecting to a University network. Permissions are set on our WordPress sites to only allow users who are connected to a University network to login.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For those who are working on campus, this is as simple as connecting to the Wi-Fi network.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For those who are working off campus, you\u2019ll need to connect to the University\u2019s VPN. VPN stands for \u201cvirtual private network\u201d and allows users to securely access to websites remotely. For remote workers this should be a familiar process, but if technical difficulties should arise, University IT will be able to help.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once a University network has been established it's time to log-in.<\/p>","background_color":"#f4f4f4","width":"width-medium"},{"acf_fc_layout":"text","anchor":"wp-admin","css_class":"","title":"<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>\/wp-admin<\/strong><\/h2>","content":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To login to WordPress, visit the homepage of the site in a browser. Add \u201c<strong>\/wp-admin<\/strong>\u201d to end of the URL and hit enter. A WordPress log-in screen will load and ask for sign-in credentials.<\/p>\r\nA username should have been issued to use in the username field. During the initial log-in process a password can be created which should be used in the password field.
