The CoE is dedicated to supporting businesses in New York through the application of data science methods and tools that solve challenges and deliver critical insights. It is funded by Empire State Development\u2019s Division of Science, Technology, and Innovation (NYSTAR)<\/a> and housed in the Goergen Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence<\/a> at the University of Rochester. The NYSTAR CoE program helps drive regional and statewide economic development by supporting basic research, training, and technology development.
