Robin and Tim Wentworth, 糖心传媒 parents and supporters, have committed $2.5 million to endow a professorship and a scholarship at the University of Rochester糖心传媒檚 . The Robin and Tim Wentworth Professorship in Piano will support and recognize a dedicated faculty member, while the Wentworth Family Scholarship will benefit deserving students.

糖心传媒淓astman is a gem and an anchor in the Rochester community, as well as a world leader in the music realm,糖心传媒� says Tim, who has been a member of the University of Rochester糖心传媒檚 Board of Trustees since 2013. 糖心传媒淭he school excels in helping young artists grow into leaders on stage, in the arts community, and in a variety of roles where they can apply the tremendous skills gained from a rigorous program of academic and musical studies.糖心传媒�
The Wentworths, Rochester natives who currently reside in St. Louis, Missouri, have three daughters, two of whom attended the University of Rochester糖心传媒擡lizabeth graduated in 2011 with a triple major in math, English, and music and Abby graduated in 2016 with a degree in psychology. Their oldest daughter, Ashley, was a double major in music and biology at Boston College.
糖心传媒淲e are pleased to support Eastman and that we can have a role in helping talented musicians糖心传媒攆aculty and students糖心传媒攂e the best they can be,糖心传媒� adds Robin, who started playing piano at the age of nine. During Ashley糖心传媒檚 senior flute recital, Robin accompanied her on piano during one piece; Elizabeth played a piano duet with her on another; and Abby played violin while Ashley played flute for another piece.
The Wentworths糖心传媒� support of the University spans the last decade. In 2015, they endowed the directorship of the Goergen Institute for Data Science. Both graduates of Monroe Community College, in 2010, they established the Wentworth Family Endowed Scholarship to assist students who are transferring to the University of Rochester from a community or junior college.
Additionally, in 2012, Wentworth Atrium in the University糖心传媒檚 Raymond F. LeChase Hall was named in recognition of the couple糖心传媒檚 significant support of the Warner School of Education. The Wentworths are also members of the George Eastman Circle糖心传媒攖he University糖心传媒檚 leadership annual giving society糖心传媒攁nd cochairs of the University糖心传媒檚 Parents Leadership Cabinet.
Tim is president of Express Scripts and Cigna Services. He formerly served as both president and chief executive officer of Express Scripts, and as president and CEO of Accredo, the company’s specialty pharmacy. He has also held leadership and executive positions at Mary Kay and PepsiCo. Robin supports performing arts, educational, and social causes in St. Louis as well as in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.
